This Privacy Policy describes how Predicted ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Your email address, display name, and username when you create an account.
• Profile information: Profile photo, bio, social media profile URLs, and other information you choose to add to your profile.
• Content you create: Predictions, captions, comments, and messages you post or send through the App.
• Market account credentials: Kalshi API Key ID and RSA private key (stored securely and used only to verify your positions). Polymarket wallet address.
• School verification: Your .edu email address if you choose to verify your school affiliation.
• Usage data: Information about how you interact with the App, including posts you view, like, or share.
• Device information: Device type, operating system, and push notification token for delivering notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App
• Verify your prediction market positions when you create a post
• Send push notifications for likes, comments, follows, and other activity
• Display your posts, profile, and statistics to other users
• Calculate leaderboard rankings and statistics
• Send school verification codes to your .edu email address
• Respond to your questions and provide customer support
• Detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• With other users: Your profile, posts, and public activity are visible to other users of the App.
• Service providers: We use Supabase for database and authentication services, and Resend for email delivery. These providers process data on our behalf.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

4. Kalshi and Polymarket Credentials

Your Kalshi API Key ID and RSA private key are stored securely in our database and are used solely to verify that you hold positions in markets you post about. We never use these credentials to place trades, access your funds, or share them with third parties. You can disconnect your Kalshi account at any time in Settings.

Your Polymarket wallet address is a public blockchain address. We use it only to look up your public trading activity for verification purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

8. Your Rights

You may:

• Access and update your profile information within the App
• Delete your account and associated data through the App settings
• Disconnect your Kalshi or Polymarket account at any time
• Contact us to request access to or deletion of your data

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date.
